DA1100 CAT-iq™ Air Sniffer
DA1100 is a standalone CAT-iq™ air sniffer turnkey solution. This tool allows to monitor and analyze the DECT/CAT-iq™ protocol. The capturing is carried out via DA1220-K1 probe from the RF interface.
DA1100 software provides an Ethernet interface for online monitoring with the open source tool "Wireshark", the dissector for DECT/CAT-iq™ and a configuration tool for base station locking and RF environment scan. The software runs on Windows 2000/XP environment.
DA1100 uses DA1220-K1 probe, which has installed a firmware especially for air sniffing. The DA1220-K1 is for further changes or extension updateable.It traces A-field and B-field data of a DECT frame.
DA1100 provides the Wireshark dissector framework for DECT/CAT-iq™ protocol. The Wireshark DECT dissector is open source and can be downloaded under GPL.

Capturing with "Wireshark"
DA1220 with Air Sniffer is connected to backbone network (SIP), using ETH0 interface. The Air Sniffer is registered as ETH1 interface. The Wireshark is configured to trace ETH0 and ETH1. In "realtime view" of Wireshark both protocols can be seen and analyzed. Thus it is possible to analyse the interactivity between DECT/CAT-iq™ and SIP protocol.
